Tender Pain

Loss.
Tis the saddest,
most regretful and uncontrollable part of life.

Tis Painful.
Leaving us to question,
every aspect of what could or might have been.

However.
In the end,
it is the happiest of pains.

Because,
had there been no love. No joy.
Then the loss would never have brought pain.

Tis true.
Though you've lost the future,
you can never replace whats in the past.

Nothing,
can ever undo what has already been.
You cannot lose what you've already experienced.

Memories.
Hold true to them and never let them go.
Keep the love alive by just keeping the memories in mind.

Photographs.
Drawings, paintings, poems, stories.
So many ways to portray that love of what is here no more.

Express,
that simple and pure love-
because in that way, it keeps who and what you've lost alive.

Keep,
the memories in mind.
Do what you can to never forget all that made you smile.

The pain,
will lessen as time passes.
You'll be left with a bittersweet feeling above all else.

Remember.
What has been done, is done.
Spend your time remembering the joy, rather than drowning in the sorrow.
